Organizational Context and Scope
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) gathers and analyzes data to disseminate critical multi layered information on the mobility, vulnerabilities, and needs of displaced and mobile populations that enables decision makers and responders to provide these populations with better context specific assistance. DTM has been widely recognized as one of the primary data sources on displacement, migration and human mobility across humanitarian response and development sectors including in Yemen.
Active in Yemen since 2015, DTM has successfully provided the evidence as basis for humanitarian action and expanding by generating evidence for broader human mobility through various components implemented in the country including Mobility Tracking, Flow Monitoring and Thematic Survey. In addition, the programme has also developed its capacity to support national workstream for population projection and global migratory routes. The evolving programme portfolio has put up the need of staff to assist in overseeing reporting components in terms of accuracy, visualization, quality, and timeline.
Under the overall supervision of the Senior Field and Programmes Coordinator, and under the direct supervision of the Programme Officer (DTM), the incumbent will be responsible for overall report quality in terms of accuracy, visualization, and timeline.
