Position Overview
- Position: Project Manager
- Reference: HR /Integrated -YHF/26-0014
- Duty Station: Aden/Marib Alabr & Al-Jawf
- Duration: 5 Months
- Reports To: Executive Director/deputy/program manager
1. Job Purpose
- The Project Manager is responsible for overall project leadership, ensuring timely, quality, and compliant implementation of all components in accordance with donor regulations, cluster standards, and Organization internal policies.
2. Key Duties and Responsibilities
A. Program Leadership & Coordination
- Develop detailed implementation workplans aligned with approved logframe.
- Ensure integrated coordination between FSAC, Protection, and WASH teams and.
- Conduct weekly internal coordination meetings.
- Ensure milestone achievement and indicator tracking.
- Ensure sector synergies (e.g., linking FSAC and Protection targeting).
- Coordination with all humanitarian clusters Aden main hub and Marib hub.
B. Technical Oversight
- Review and approve beneficiary targeting methodologies.
- Validate cash transfer modalities and compliance with FSAC guidelines.
- Oversee Protection referral mechanisms.
- Ensure WASH infrastructure meets technical standards.
- Ensure water trucking exit strategy is implemented.
C. Donor Compliance & Reporting
- Lead preparation of monthly, interim, and final reports.
- Ensure narrative and financial alignment.
- Monitor burn rate and budget utilization.
- Ensure documentation readiness for audits.
- Coordinate donor monitoring visits.
D. Risk Management
- Conduct quarterly risk analysis.
- Ensure fraud mitigation measures for cash programming.
- Oversee PSEA compliance and incident reporting.
E. Human Resource Supervision
- Conduct staff performance appraisals.
- Approve leave plans and attendance.
- Ensure staff capacity building and training.
F. Monitoring & Quality Assurance
- Conduct at least 3 structured field monitoring visits.
- Review MEAL reports and ensure corrective action plans.
- Monitor beneficiary satisfaction rates.
3. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Development, economics, languages Project Management, Social Sciences/studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management in humanitarian or development contexts, with a focus on Life-Saving activities.
- Minimum of 3 years of working Experience with international partners and local institutions and local actors, including local NGOs.
- Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by IDPs and host communities in conflict-affected areas.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
